‘Palio Tetradio’ can be found nestled in the most central part of Plaka which is situated right under the sacred rock of the Acropolis. It is housed in a very old building with stylised elements from the Ottoman era. It’s eclectic atmosphere is drawn from the surrounding quaint pathways, the overhanging grapevine covered stairs leading up to the Acropolis, and it’s authentic Greek decor. For decades this established tavern was recognised for the appearances of famous singers and composers, songwriters, poets and artists.
Today ‘Palio Tetradio’ is known for the delicious dishes it prepares, which combine both quality and original secret recipes that have remained unchanged over time. The delicious flavours together with the extraordinary environment, music and service, transport a person for a short while into a dreamlike world made for pure enjoyment.
